Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 1, 2026

This policy explains what personal information is collected when you visit scaleupcopilot.com, why it is collected, who it is shared with, and what rights you have over it.

Who is responsible for your information

The data controller is ScaleupCopilot LLC, based in Cambridge, MA, USA. You can reach us by email at getstarted@scaleupcopilot.com or by phone on 508.851.9189.

What this policy covers

This policy covers the public website only. Client engagements — fractional CTO work and executive coaching — are governed by the separate written agreement signed for that engagement, which sets out how confidential and business information is handled.

Information collected

Information you provide

There are no forms on this site. You share information only when you choose to contact us:

  • Booking a discovery call. Scheduling runs through Reclaim.ai. When you book, you provide your name, email address, and anything you write in the booking notes. That information is collected by Reclaim.ai under its own privacy policy and passed to us.
  • Email or phone. If you contact us directly, we hold whatever you send — your email address or phone number and the contents of your message.

Information collected automatically

  • Server and security logs. The site is served by Render behind Cloudflare. Both record standard request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp — to deliver pages and to protect against abuse.
  • Analytics. Google Analytics 4 (property G-B21S36R756) measures page views and a small number of interactions: clicks on the discovery-call link, email address, and phone number. Analytics storage is disabled until you consent. If you decline, or ignore the banner, no analytics cookies are set.
  • Fonts. Typefaces load from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is disclosed to Google when a page renders. No cookies are set by this.

Cookies

No cookies are set on this website before you consent. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets its standard first-party measurement cookies. Your consent choice itself is stored in your browser's local storage so you are not asked again on every page; clearing site data resets it and the banner will reappear. If we ever add a new category of cookie, your existing choice stops applying and you will be asked again — an earlier yes is never carried over to something you were not shown.

Why your information is used

PurposeLegal basis (UK/EU GDPR)
Responding to enquiries and arranging callsSteps taken at your request prior to entering a contract
Serving the site, security, and abuse preventionLegitimate interests
Analytics and measurementConsent — withdrawable at any time

Your information is never sold, rented, or shared for cross-context behavioural advertising. There is no advertising on this site.

Who your information is shared with

These service providers process data on our behalf:

  • Render — website hosting
  • Cloudflare — content delivery and security
  • Google LLC — Google Analytics 4 (only with your consent) and Google Fonts
  • Reclaim.ai — scheduling discovery calls
  • Email provider — receiving and storing correspondence

We also disclose information where legally required. We do not share it with anyone else.

International transfers

We operate from the United States and the providers above are predominantly US-based, so if you contact us from outside the US your information will be transferred there. Where required, transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the providers' equivalent safeguards.

How long information is kept

  • Enquiries and correspondence — kept while there is an active conversation or relationship, and for up to two years afterwards.
  • Analytics data — retained according to the Google Analytics retention setting on the property, up to 14 months.
  • Server and security logs — retained on the providers' standard schedules, typically under 30 days.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or EEA, you have the right to access your information, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how it is used, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already happened.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected and why, to request deletion or correction, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, so there is no opt-out to offer.

To exercise any of these, email getstarted@scaleupcopilot.com. To change your analytics choice, clear this site's data in your browser and the consent banner will reappear.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. There are no user accounts, no logins, and no payment processing on this site, so there are no credentials or card details to expose. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is aimed at business audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with an updated effective date.
